Flu Jabs in Southwark and Lambeth

Kalmak Chemists Ltd t/a Osbon Pharmacy offer a flu jab service for NHS and private patients throughout Waterloo, Southwark, Lambeth and South East London that require protection from the complications that can occur from catching flu.

The NHS provides a flu jab (Flu vaccination by injection) once a year to protect vulnerable adults and children who may be at risk of flu.

For most healthy adults, flu can be unpleasant but is usually gone within a week. There are some people, however, who may be at risk if they catch flu. Vulnerable adults include:

  • People over 65 years old
  • Pregnant women
  • Adults or children who have underlying health problems
  • Adults or children whose immune system has been weakened

People who are at risk of developing complications when exposed to flu should be vaccinated every year for protection. Vulnerable people who catch flu may develop complications such as lung infection (pneumonia).
